This will be a hands on class where you will be learning the art of making Tinctures, Glycerides, and Infused oils! We will get to know the following herbs: Sage, Mullein, Calendula, Nettle, Basil, Garlic, Cinnamon, St. Johns Wort, Slippery Elm, and Oregon Grape Root. We will cover the basic fundamentals of herbalism. As well as making teas, infusions, and decoctions. We will get to know Lavender, Chamomile, Melissa (Lemon Balm), Peppermint, Valerian, Tulsi (Holy Basil), Ginger, Dandelion, Elder, Echinacea, Licorice. Class size is 10 people so get your spot reserved early! Cost includes all supplies and herbs needed for the class. This class will cover the basic fundamentals of herbalism. This class will include; where to get your herbs, storing herbs, and building your own home apothecary. As well as making teas, infusions, and decoctions. This will be a hands on class! To truly get to know herbs you must experience them! This class will cover the basics of designing, planting, growing, and harvesting your medicinal herb garden. We will also cover starting your own seeds and basic permaculture, and herb uses. We will get to know these herbal plants: Yarrow, Melissa, Calendula, Peppermint, Sage, Marshmallow, Basil, Tulsi, Lavender, Dandelion, Stinging nettle, and plantain.
